Acupuncture
Acupuncture involves the insertion of very thin needles through your skin at strategic points on your body. A key component of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture is most commonly used to treat pain, overall wellness and stress management.

Lymphatic Cupping for the Head, Neck and Shoulders
This 30-minute manual lymphatic drainage session focuses on gently clearing the sinuses and upper respiratory system. Manual strokes and facial cups are used to move stagnant lymph for better breathing, decreased sinus pressure and swelling, and boosting the immune system. This session is ideal for those dealing with long-haul Covid symptoms, sinus congestion, headaches, and swelling around the face and/or neck.
*If you are recovering from a sinus infection, please wait 72 hours after your first symptoms to schedule a session*
Scar Tissue Treatment: Dolphin Micro-Current Point Stimulation (MPS)
Dolphin MPS devices work on either side of a scar, bouncing concentrated direct current back and forth like a sewing needle to break down scar tissue. After a single treatment you will have increased pliability of the affected tissue, a decrease in pain, and overall better movement. Continuous treatment can also reverse visible signs of scar tissue. This treatment can be performed on new or old scar tissue, as well as, post-operative scarring, to aid in the healing process and any limitations that have developed from scar tissue over time. You cannot receive this treatment if you have a pacemaker or if you are pregnant.
Muscle/Athletic Taping (KinesioTaping)
Muscle taping creates a bio-mechanical lifting mechanism that lifts the skin away from the soft tissue underneath, which allows more blood to move into an injured area to accelerate healing and recovery. The fabric consists of cotton, nylon, and uses no drugs. Adhesive is a hypo-allergenic acrylic based adhesive and contains no latex. When applied over a stretched muscle, muscle tape lifts the skin, accelerating blood flow to increase the amount of oxygen available to the muscles, which reduces fatigue. Athletic taping also promotes lymph drainage. These combined effects are powerful: they allow the athlete to go harder for longer periods of time. Unlike compression garments, muscle tape can be applied to very specific areas of the body that are sometimes hard to reach, such as shoulders, knees, and joints.
Reiki
Traditional Usi Reiki originated from Japan. It is a technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki is based on the idea that unseen life force energy flows through us and it is what causes us to live. The practitioner places their hands on or over the seven main energy centers of your body, also known as chakras. Reiki enhances the natural flow of this life energy to promote health and healing at all levels including mind, body and spirit.

Corporate Wellness
A chance to relax and recharge during a stressful workday isn’t always possible, even on the days when you need it most. With a corporate massage chair, you can make relaxation more obtainable right in your work environment.
Corporate Wellness Program with Hand In Health
Don’t worry about a chair massage taking too long. Just 10-20 minutes in a massage chair can greatly benefit your workers without interfering with the workday!
Our Syracuse massage therapists will bring and set up their own equipment. By planning ahead and figuring out how many employees are interested, we can best suit the size and schedule of your team.
Stress & Chair Massage Statistics
- 46% of Americans attribute work as the main cause of their stress*
- 83% of workers suffer from work-related stress*
- Workplace stress results in up to $300 billion in annual losses*
*The American Institute of Stress
We know two things:
- Workplace stress can take a toll on your health
- Massage therapy relieves stress
Do you and your employees stand to benefit from this wellness program?
An American Massage Therapy Association study found that blood pressure and cortisol levels (a hormone produced by stress) were significantly reduced after just 10-15 minutes of chair massage.
What Happens During a Chair Massage?
In a typical chair massage, you sit leaning forward into a massage chair with your face nestled in a plush face cradle while a therapist massages your neck, back, and arms.
A corporate chair massage allows your team to take care of themselves without having to leave the office. No preparation or change of clothes necessary!
What Are the Benefits of a Chair Massage In the Workplace?

Physical Health
See More
Chair massages can make your body feel better, especially for workers who hunch over their desks and screens all day. Having a massage at work can help workers relieve muscle tension, neck and back pain, soreness/stiffness, and arm/wrist issues (such as carpal tunnel syndrome).
Chair massages can also provide:
- Relief from headaches & migraines
- Strengthened immunity
- Stress management
- Improved circulation
- Reduced blood pressure

Mental Wellness
See More
Massages can combat stress and anxiety during the workday. By stepping away from your desk for a short while, you can treat yourself to a massage and the following benefits:
- Better mood
- Mental alertness
- More energy
- Less stress & anxiety
- Relaxation
- Improved sleep at night

Improved Productivity
See More
Massages can improve work productivity. When workers are stressed or experiencing chronic pain, they’re not able to work to their full potential. Employers can reduce absenteeism, boost company morale, and build better teamwork, trust, and loyalty in the workplace.
Chair massages in the office can work well with your schedule. Workers can choose the time and length of their massage, without interfering with your daily operations.
Plus, workplace wellness is more popular than ever before. You can help reduce healthcare costs by facilitating healthier lifestyles for your employees.
